My first review!!!

When I saw the 4.5 star review of Fiery Icicle from Night Owl Reviews, I gave a little squee! I've also been named as NOR Top Pick! Here's the review if you're interested in taking a look :)

Madeline is hoping for more than just lust from her half fae boyfriend Zach. She wants his love and his trust. Zach has a secretive job and must leave and go undercover. He hopes to infiltrate the demon underground world. He promises to share all his secrets with her upon his arrival, secrets that could cause him to lose her forever. Leaving also means he must leave Madeline behind putting his closest confidant Nathanial to watch over her safety. Can Madeline fight the instant attraction and connection to the mysterious stranger and wait for her beloved to come back? And when all secrets are revealed will Madeline stay by his side or walk away from her lover forever?

This book will grab your attention from the beginning and keep you guessing. The characters are so well written that you will feel an instant connection with them. They are so well described and the flow of story is perfect. I loved the way the author wrote this novel. However I would have liked to see more conflict with the sub plots and have had a more challenging story line. The characters were enough to keep this book going. I just would have liked to see a more dangerous rival.
