I know I'm not overtly original while picking my words..but my brain does gravitate towards words that look alike (or that I've used earlier..like for Eagle Day) ...
Saber Day is : means to come into work late, and leave early. For example, if the job you work at normally operates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., someone takes a Saber Day would come in at 10 a.m. and leave at 4.
I luuurv me some "escaping" time.. no matter what.. LOL! And given a choice between Sabilicious and Saber Day, I'd pick Saber Day anytime ;)

I used to know plenty of people who enjoyed taking a Saber Day!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard the expression before. Maybe it originated with the thought of slashing hours off the beginning and the end. What an image. Blog on!

I've not heard that one either. I'm also not sure what Sabilicious means!
ReplyDeleteYou got me? But I like the idea. Dropping by from A-Z.
