Love's in the air bloghop

I wanted to create a post with only pictures :) but I realized....I might have to add in a few words to convey what I want to as well ;) so.... here you go! (More showing, less talking)

Some consider V-day like a big deal : From gifts to display of love....

Some gag at the thought of V-day...

But I say, let's leave the drama firmly in fiction and try to remain as happy and as loving as possible on all days ;)

What's your thought regarding Valentine's day? Is the hype too much, or you wait for this time of the year? Also, leave your email id, so I can contact the winner!

Then go ahead, have fun by visiting other blogs too!

  2. To me it's a bunch of hype. But, this is the first year my hubby wants to go out for it. So, it should be fun!

  3. Very much hype from all the greeting card companies ;)! After 23 yrs together I don't really think we need a specific date/day to celebrate our love! Thanks for being a stop on the hop.

  4. I think it's a bunch of commercial hype. A person shows love everyday. We don't need a special day for it...LOL

  5. I think it's overrated.... But at the same time, I really don't like being alone on V-day, no matter how much I might say otherwise lol.

    Thanks for the giveaway.

  7. My Valentine's Day is generally made up of work as I do not and never has had a man on Valentine's Day. Here's to someday breaking that streak!

    Happy Valentine's Day!

  8. I'm single right now so the hype is too much. When I have someone, I do like chocolate and going out to dinner.

  9. My boyfriend and I agreed not to acknowledge it too much. We celebrate our relationship every day! Thanks! katieamanda1(at)yahoo(dot)com

  10. Valentine's Day is an interesting and polarizing holiday. Most people either love it or hate it. I'm in the hating category. If I celebrate, I spend the day with kids.

  11. I like Valentine's Day even if it is a made up holiday. I like to celebrate with everyone not just DH. It is a chance to have fun and brighten someone's day.

  12. I think Valentines day is another excuse for some people to go out and go crazy spending money...but really it's just about celebrating your love !

  13. I'm fairly recently married and my husband and I use Valentine's Day as an excuse to have a special meal, give each other a couple thoughtful gifts, and make absolutely positive the other one knows we love them. :)

I'm one of the Ambassadors for the A to Z Challenge; looking forward to seeing your posts in April!
